Without any prior warning, at around 10:45 a.m. on February 28, 2026, corresponding to the 10th of Ramadan 1447 AH, at a time when Muslims were observing the religious obligation of fasting according to their beliefs, and during hours officially designated as instructional time according to the formal schedule of Iran’s Ministry of Education, the school was attacked. According to local reports, the attack occurred precisely moments after the strike on the main building of Shahid Absalan Clinic, resulting in immediate casualties among the students and teaching staff of the school.
